Our founder, Juan Galvis, have spent his life in the quest of advancing the Human-Animal bond. In his native country -Colombia, South America, at a very early age, he experienced full immersion into multi specie animal husbandry.

Without being aware at the time, those early years were pivotal, in cementing what later was going to become his vocation, career and life absolute passion -Animal care.

In 1997 at the young age of 18, he came to the United States, to pursue his college education in Business Administration, Biology and Economics at Campbell University in North Carolina.

After his college education, Galvis, sought the knowledge of advanced special working and protection dog training. As his usual strategy when pursuing knowledge or ventures, Galvis got involved with top Dog behavior experts both across North America and Europe.

After years of paying the dues and earning the respect of those in this field, he developed a great reputation. He was first in the history of the state of North Carolina to fully title a dog in the complex sport of Mondioring. Many various of his beloved working/companion dogs have enjoyed titles, praise, respect and admiration from those well versed in this field.

While those are great accolades, you will find Galvis often say… “All I care is to be a good Doggie/Cat Papa, I would never give up on the moral responsibility to treat animals with kindness and dignity; above money, trophies and recognition. Never give up on providing them with the highest care and attention”

Little did he know that his voracious curiosity about animal behavior and his values towards animal care would blossom into a highly reputable and successful pet care services company, offering solutions for the needs of pets and people of North Carolina and recently the state of Florida. The company is posed to continue tactful growth in other states and areas of animal husbandry.

PECUS LLC, DBA The Pet Wagon, Dogability Dog Training and its subsidiaries; are solely owned and managed by Galvis’ and his wife Maria Sol Arenas. We must not forget the old adage… “Behind every great man there is a great woman”. Maria S Arenas, oversees and manages the daily operations of the company.

Arenas, also attended Campbell University where they met. At Campbell, she pursued her bachelors and MBA degrees. A native born Argentinian -Once a highly ranked world level golf competitor, notes -“I would not change places with anyone today.” Her absolute passion and purpose is to care for the pets and build teams who share the same enthusiasm and values.

While they have developed an outstanding group of people committed to the mission with excellent managerial structures, the company is an absolute family affair. Animal behavior management is their daily bread, as they often comment – “Serving the needs of other creatures bring absolute purpose to our lives”
